1. Delivery Information
Items are delivered within 2–14 days, depending on the chosen delivery service. Delivery to parcel lockers and to your address is available through LP Express.
2. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Return Right)
In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, the Buyer must:
• Notify the Seller by email at info@aceknyga.com of their decision to withdraw from the contract by submitting a clear statement.
• Send or hand over the goods to the Seller within 14 days of submitting the notification.
• The goods must be returned in original packaging, unused, and without loss of commercial appearance.
The Seller undertakes to refund all amounts paid by the Buyer, including standard delivery costs (except for additional costs if the Buyer chose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery option), no later than within 14 days from the date of receipt of the notification of withdrawal.
Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns (14-day withdrawal right) are borne by the Buyer, unless the goods are defective.
Exceptions:
In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, the right to withdraw from the contract does not apply to sealed products that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons.
3. Rules for Return of Goods of Proper Quality
All books sold on aceknyga.com are NEW and stored at optimal temperature, protected from direct sunlight, in the highest quality warehouse facilities that meet all European Union standards. Each book is externally inspected during the shipment preparation process.
A book is not considered defective if it shows minor imperfections that occurred during transportation, packaging, or storage, commonly seen in books sold in regular bookstores (e.g., minor scratches on the cover or foil, slight discolouration of paper on an outer edge).
Please notify us immediately about any defective goods by email at info@aceknyga.com, indicating your invoice number and the note “Defective product” in the subject line. Specify the product name and briefly describe the defect. The Seller covers the cost of returning defective products.
4. Rules for Return of Goods of Improper Quality
If the Buyer has received goods of improper quality or a manufacturing defect is identified, the Buyer may return the goods and, at their choice, may demand:
• That the product be replaced with an equivalent product of proper quality, except in cases where the defects are minor or occurred due to the Buyer’s fault.
• A full refund and withdrawal from the purchase agreement, where the sale of improper quality goods constitutes a material breach of the order.
The Buyer must declare their choice to the Seller by email at info@aceknyga.com when returning the product. The Buyer may not change their chosen method of remedy once declared. The Buyer has no right to terminate the purchase agreement if the defect is insignificant.
When returning goods, the Buyer must:
• Notify the Seller by email at info@aceknyga.com specifying the goods to be returned.
• Provide the purchase document (invoice, receipt or other proof of purchase) and warranty card if issued.
• Submit a written return request.
• Return the goods within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery.
The Seller has the right not to accept goods returned by the Buyer if the Buyer does not comply with the return procedure. The Seller covers the cost of returning defective goods. Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days after receipt of the Buyer’s notification, or from the date the goods are returned to the Seller.
Refunds are made using the same payment method used by the Buyer, unless the Buyer has agreed to an alternative method. Money is not refunded for goods that were intentionally or negligently damaged, used improperly, or not for their intended purpose.
5. Procedure for Returning Goods
• When returning goods, the Buyer must indicate the sender’s address and properly package the product to prevent damage during shipping.
• All gifts provided together with the purchased product must be returned at the same time.
• The Buyer must return the goods following the instructions provided by the Seller via email.
• If the Seller delivered the product to the Buyer’s address and there is no possibility to return it by standard methods, the Seller will collect the product at their own expense.
• Delivery costs are not refunded if the Buyer chose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard method offered by the Seller.
• If there is a price difference when exchanging goods, the Buyer and Seller must settle according to the recalculated prices.
6. Pre-Order Terms
6.1 Definition of Pre-Order
A pre-order allows the customer to order a book before its official release or arrival at the store. Orders are fulfilled only upon receipt of the ordered goods into our warehouse.
6.2 Pre-Order Period
The pre-order period and estimated dates are indicated for each product with pre-order availability.
6.3 Prices and Payments
The price displayed at the time of pre-order is the price the customer will pay. This may differ from the price at the book’s official release date. By placing a pre-order, the customer agrees to the pre-order price. Full payment must be made at the time of ordering.
6.4 Order Confirmation
Upon receiving the order, we will send a confirmation email with a summary of order details and the estimated delivery date.
6.5 Delivery
Books will be shipped or prepared for pickup as soon as they arrive in our warehouse. Standard delivery fees apply.
6.6 Returns and Cancellations
Pre-orders are subject to the same 14-day right of withdrawal as other distance purchases. The period is calculated from the date of receipt of the goods. If the ordered book is damaged or does not match the description, it can be returned and exchanged or refunded in accordance with this policy.
6.7 Book Release Delay
If the book release date is delayed, we will inform customers by email. Customers may choose to wait for the book’s arrival or cancel the order and receive a full refund.
7. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved directly with the Seller, the Buyer may submit a complaint to:

Website: www.vvtat.lt

8. Privacy Protection
All personal data provided when placing an order will be stored and used only in accordance with our Privacy Policy (Privatumo politika), available on our website. We will not share your data with third parties unless necessary for order fulfilment (e.g., delivery service providers).
9. Changes to These Terms
The store reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. All changes will be published on the website and will take effect from the date of publication. Orders placed before the date of amendment shall be governed by the terms in force at the time of ordering.
