Children’s Creative Club
This year, we invite children to meet in person at our creative club, where we can create, experiment and explore together.
We want to inspire children not to be afraid to try, to look for their own ideas and discover how much they can create when they allow themselves to play. Each session will bring a different creative workshop, where we’ll learn new graphic art techniques and explore new ways of creating.
So, let’s meet and create together!
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The club is for children aged 7 to 14.
The club is bilingual – continuing the tradition of the ACE book, we work in both Lithuanian and English. Together, we’ll create, experiment and discover new ways to express our ideas.
The club consists of 4 sessions, with a different creative technique explored during each session.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Price: 150 € for 4 sessions
Duration: 90 min
Location: Keramikų g. 2, Dvarčionys, Vilnius
Meals: Tea and a place to warm your own food are available.
PROGRAMME
Workshop 1 – Collage
A creative workshop where children will use paper, colours, textures and various details to create their own collage. There is no single right result here – what matters most is imagination and experimentation.
Workshop 2 – Light Installation
Children will become little light artists, creating a playful installation while experimenting with light, shadows, colours and transparent materials.
Workshop 3 – Linocut
Children will be introduced to the linocut technique and create their own unique print. They will experiment with shapes, lines and patterns, and take their artwork home with them.
Workshop 4 – Carousel Decoration
Children will create colourful and playful decorative elements for a carousel. The workshop will combine imagination, colour and careful hands-on work, with each child contributing to the overall look of the carousel.
WHAT KIND OF CHILDREN ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We welcome curious, creative and thoughtful little personalities.
Here, both brave experimenters and quieter observers are welcome. We won’t rush, pressure or compare. Every child will have the freedom to discover their own pace, colours and way of creating.
And to make our creative days even cosier, a four – legged friend will always be around, ready to brighten the day with a curious gaze and a happily wagging tail. 🐾

Gabija Gasiunas
ACE book author, illustrator & publisher
After completing her Master’s degree at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, Gabija founded her own successful independent publishing house and created the bilingual ACE book series. For Gabija, creativity is more than just a job — it’s a way of life.

During the camp, she’ll open the doors to the world behind the books: how an idea becomes a sketch, how a sketch turns into an illustration, and how illustrations come together to become a real book. She’ll teach children not only the theory and practice of illustration, but also how to confidently express themselves through creativity.
Gabija might even find it easier to connect with children than adults. She speaks their language, encourages their wildest ideas, and knows how to spark that creative fire in every child.

Creative mentor
Creator, event organiser, mum, and someone who simply has a way with children. Joana is constantly involved in creative projects — writing, filming, organising — and brings that same energy and enthusiasm to the camp.

During the camp, Joana helps children discover that writing doesn’t have to feel like hard work or a school assignment. It’s a space to experiment, laugh, play, and surprise yourself. In her sessions, the group quickly comes alive, the energy rises, and stories begin to flow naturally.
Joana also shares relaxation techniques that help children let go, feel more confident, and create without being afraid of making mistakes — because the best stories often appear when you simply give yourself permission to play with words.
