PRESENTATIONS AND CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
To date, I have visited more than 50 schools to share the world of Ace with young readers. During the presentation, we explore how a book is created, from the first idea to the finished publication. Children learn how characters are developed, how illustrations are drawn, and how much creativity and persistence go into bringing a story to life.
I also share my personal experience growing up between cultures. As a Lithuanian who grew up abroad, I talk about my journey of reconnecting with my roots and how this experience inspired me to create the bilingual ACE books.
CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
After the presentation, children are invited to take part in a creative workshop where they can become creators themselves.
During the workshop, children:
- explore their creativity and ideas
- create their own characters
- draw and imagine new stories
This hands-on activity encourages children to discover that every story begins with a simple idea.
